That's all for today. God bless you!
P.S. Chapter Six of "Darkest Before Dawn" is on Wattpad and chapter seven is bound to follow soon. :)
My blog is mostly about what I write and then whatever else I feel like rambling about. It's pretty random.
What is in my handbag? I am probably one of the few women on earth who doesn't carry a whole lot of stuff in her purse. My sister and best friend's handbags weigh a ton, I'm pretty sure they take their whole rooms with them. ;p I did recently upgrade to a bigger handbag, but that's because my keys have grown in number. My very bulky key chain is in my handbag along with my wallet and my phone. And I still have a half used gift card to Sweet Frog. That's all that I carry on a usual day. Sometimes I throw my iPod in there and on some Sundays I put a small notebook in there with a pen. Oh, and when I go to Choir practice I bring my yellow highlighter to highlight the songs we're singing. That's all I carry in my handbag. :) I need to find a small comb to put in there so I can fix my hair for days when I'm out all day. My hair is really long and after half a day of activity it gets tangled.
That's all for today. God bless you! P.S. Chapter Six of "Darkest Before Dawn" is on Wattpad and chapter seven is bound to follow soon. :)

Chapters four and five of "Darkest Before Dawn" have been published on Wattpad and Six will be coming soon. I'm sorry it took me a whole month to add these chapters, I have no excuse except that I didn't want to go through the trouble of editing them. Chapters four and five have only been read through once so please forgive the mistakes your bound to find. Two writers offered to be my editors, but I think they've been to busy to get around to it so it's just been me. Also, I redid the excerpt of "Darkest Before Dawn" that's on my "Novels" section of this blog because the fonts were doing weird things and I've revised that part of the book so many times I wasn't sure which draft that was. Anyway, it's up to date for now. I have read through chapter seven, but it's going to take a lot more work to revise before I can share. I'm not sure how long that's going to take. I ran into a bit of a plot issue in chapter seven... Yeah, that's not easy to fix.....
Anyways, I just wanted to give y'all that update on "Darkest Before Dawn". Read it, vote if you like it, vote if you don't like it. ;) Or comment, I would love to have some feedback, even if it's just pointing out a spelling error. :) God bless you! Have a fantastic day! My favorite quote is probably "There are three rules to writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are." - W. Somerset Maugham. I had been reading a lot of rules, tips, and guidelines to writing a novel and it was rather overwhelming. Then I saw that quote and took a load off my shoulders. To me that quote means that ultimately there are no rules to writing and I can therefore write however I want. It's liberating! Is it not? That quote helped me write more freely and quickly when things had begun to slow down.
So yeah, that's my favorite quote. Have a great day! God bless you! P.S. Chapter four of "Darkest Before Dawn" is now on Wattpad. I'm sorry this post is so late, but I got busy and then I got sick. I have a head cold again, the second one this month, but I've just taken some cold medicine and am currently feeling much better.
Okay, "If I Won the Lottery". Hmm, that's kind of tricky. I'm not sure how much money I'd win playing the lottery, but just going to assume it's a whole lot, like in the millions. Maybe the billions. Well, I guess 10% of that would go to my church. Then I'd probably make a big donation to Christian organizations like the CPC (Crisis Pregnancy Center). Then I would buy a farm house. An old one, and I would repair it and remodel it. I would buy a Mustang, not sure which year though, but it would be red. Oh! And I'd buy a horse and get horseback riding lessons. I would do a lot of clothes and shoes shopping, and I'd get plenty of accessories, and I'd buy a LOT of DVDs. Oh, and I would rent a nice house by the beach for a week, if not forever. Hahaha! I love the beach! Okay, that was fun. And I just have to point out, I popped over to Ginny's blog real quick to see what she said and then realized we the first two things we did with our imaginary money was the same. You can definitely tell we were raised under the same roof. :) That is all. God bless you! My most proud moment. I know I have a lot of those, but at the moment I think they may have all escaped me.
..... Um.... When I learned how to ride a bike without the training wheels. When I helped Ginny ride a big bike. When I said "hi" to my fourth grade crush without fainting. ;) I'm mostly kidding on that one, I've never fainted before, but I was really proud of myself for keeping a clear enough head to say hello. When I sang with my youth praise band for the first time. When I sang in the adult choir for the first time. When I got my drivers licence. Oh! And most recently when I got ahead in school and am therefore graduating early and alongside Ginny. (Given that I can't/won't give my age I can't specify how early we're graduating.) I finished the twelfth grade on March 15, 2015. :D I'm still proud of that and proud of Ginny because she finished on the same day. (Way to go Sis!) Okay so I've come up with a lot of most proud moments, but that's mostly cause my problem here is I can't pick just one. Now you know some of my most proud moments. :) God bless you! I don't have a crush on any celebrities and I never have. That pretty much sums up day six. There's nothing else to really say on the topic, I mean really. I admire the skill of some actors, and some are notably handsome, but I don't have a crush on them.
I really don't know what else to say. I pride myself on publishing long posts, but I think I'll just have let this one be super short. P.S. On a side note, "Tick Tock" is still lost to my dead computer, but I have begun writing it again. This time I've saved on the internet. It's still sad to think about, especially when I think of some really good scenes I wrote. I mean, they were really good! And now they're gone.... So yeah, it's been kinda hard, but I'll make it through eventually. God bless you! Allons-y! I can't believe it's day five and I haven't missed a day yet! :D So the topic is "Piercings or Tattoos?" and I at first I thought it was asking me if I had either or both, but then I realized it could just be asking me which I prefer. I do not have have any piercings. When I was younger, I don't know, maybe around 12, I wanted to get my ears pierced. It never happened, I couldn't prove that I would be able to take care of them diligently enough. Now that I'm older I'm glad I didn't get my ears pierced. I use magnet earrings, or clip-ons. It's a lot easier and this way I don't always have to wear earrings.
I do not have any tattoos and I never will. Never. My grandpa has a tattoo, but I didn't know it until my mom told me. I've seen it a hundred times, but I didn't even know it because it just looks like a bruise on his arm. I'm series, you'd never know it was a tattoo. And what if I were to gain weight and then lose it again? It would stretch and then shrink. If I want ink on my skin for whatever reason I can simply wear a temporary tattoo. It makes more sense to me than to permanently mark my body. I also don't have any piercings or tattoos because I believe, as a Christian, I shouldn't. I would probably go on to tell you why, as Christians, we shouldn't get piercings or tattoos, but I have had too many arguments with someone else about it. I've lost my patience on the topic. Anyway, I don't have anything against those who pierce their ears or anything, but I do think it wasn't a wise choice on their part. I hope that doesn't offend any of my readers, it's just my opinion. I can only imagine how strange you must think I am, now. That is all for today. God bless you! Have a wonderful day! :) My ten favorite foods. Finally something that wouldn't be so hard. :)
1. Mac & Cheese is my all time favorite food in the whole wide WORLD!!! XD It's been my favorite for as long as I can remember. 2. CHOCOLATE! O.O 3. Seafood Sub from Subway. It's plenty of Mayo on wheat bread with what's probably crab salad, provolone cheese, tomatoes, and black olives. I've been having it for lunch a lot, lately. Sadly not every Subway has seafood. :( 4. Cheesecake, maybe with sour cream on it. I've only recently fallen in love with cheesecake. :) 5. Pie. I'm not being particular because I like more than one pie and couldn't choose. I like Pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, lemon meringue pie, etc. etc. 6. Hash browns. They are so good. XD I don't get to have them very often, though. 7. Krispy Kreme donates! I should have put these as number two. I like mine glazed, or with chocolate. It doesn't particularly matter as long as they're fresh. 8. Broccoli cooked with cheese, the only healthy thing in this list. 9. Strawberry shortcake :) 10. Strawberries! :D This has made me hungry again, and I just ate. ;) Thanks for your time! God bless you! :D Sorry my post has come so late in the day, I'd completely forgotten about it until just now. Today I was supposed to tell you "My Guilty Pleasure", but I can honestly tell you that I don't think I have one. I'm a Christian, if I'm feeling guilty about something them I stop doing it. So the next topic would be "Three Personality Traits I'm Proud of".
This is really hard! I've been thinking and I'm not sure I'll be able to come up with three off the top of my head. I would say the first would be my sense of humor. I'm a funny person to be around once you get to know me. At least, I think I'm funny. Most of my humor is sarcasm so I kind of have to be careful about that, some people don't catch on to sarcasm very well. Okay, the second would be my "leadership qualities", but I've been told I'm just bossy. I might be the younger sister of two, but they're out of the house and that leaves me, the older sister of one, at home to boss her around. (Love you Sis) As a woman I'm going to have to watch that controlling attitude I have, especially when I get married, but if I guide it in the right direction I think I can be good leader. (Which is a good quality for a mother, I think) :) After much thinking, I guess my third personality trait that I'm proud of is that I'm honest. I strive to be that person that people can trust and believe because I will never tell a lie or be deceitful. It's incredibly hard sometimes, but I'd say I've improved a lot. I did notice that sometimes, in the heat of the moment, we lie or don't give the whole truth, and maybe don't even realize it until later. But that is only one more reason that I try to be completely honest. That is all for today. Have a lovely Sunday! God bless you! The topic they gave me today is "Meaning of My Business Name", but I don't have a business. I guess this challenge was meant for a blog that brings in money. So, moving on to the next topic. "Earliest Childhood Memory".
The clearest memory I have from when I was really little isn't one of those super adorable memories, like the one Ginny shared. I'm not sure how old I was, just that I was really young. I was in the car with Ginny, Mom, and Dad. I think we might have been going to church, but I'm not sure. Dad just started to pull out of the driveway when he drove into my tricycle. I think I cried, although the little, red bike was fine. So yeah, that's one of my earliest childhood memories. :) It's kind of funny to think back on now. God bless you! Have a fantastic day! :D |
